SOME UTOPIA

A generation ship is forty years from its destination when a new philosophy begins quietly persuading the crew that the destination was never the point.

Notes from the Studio

Why this project belongs here.

The film treats utopia as a contagion of meaning. A destination can save a ship, but so can a story about not arriving.

NOIR makes room for science fiction when the dread is not alien invasion but persuasion.
